Ilhan Omar’s Daughters Appear at Raided DC Home Amidst Investigation and Rumors

Amidst swirling rumors about her whereabouts following a pre-dawn raid on her Washington, D.C. residence, Rep. Ilhan Omar has remained out of public view, but her daughters have been seen arriving at the embattled home. Isra Hirsi, Omar’s eldest daughter, was observed pulling into the driveway under the cover of darkness and entering the house, a location recently swarmed by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents. Shortly after, a younger daughter, accompanied by what appeared to be a caretaker, was also seen entering the residence. These appearances come as federal agents reportedly seized Omar’s phone and passport during the search, which sources confirmed is related to an immigration fraud probe investigating potential falsification of citizenship paperwork. While Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett, has been intermittently seen walking their dog and has dismissed rumors of her fleeing the country, Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor, reportedly spoke with federal investigators after a scheduled book tour stop was canceled due to a “family emergency.” The investigation, which has reportedly led to subpoenas for Omar’s relatives, is reportedly probing whether the congresswoman and/or her father provided false information on her citizenship documents, a situation that could lead to denaturalization if proven true. Omar herself has publicly denounced the raid as an “outrageous abuse of power” and a “weaponization of federal law enforcement to target political enemies,” while Vice President JD Vance has asserted the investigation is driven by facts and not political motivation.
