Google is rolling out a new privacy setting for Search services called Search Services History, which controls whether your activity is saved when signed in. Crucially, the ‘Save Media’ option, when enabled, allows Google to store images you upload, voice searches, and other interactions. This saved media may be used to improve Google’s AI models and technologies, meaning your personal photos and voice recordings could contribute to AI development for years, even if you delete the original activity.
