A convicted child predator, Laquan Holland, is accused of brutally attacking two women inside a Planet Fitness women’s locker room in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Prosecutors allege Holland brought a woman to the gym under the guise of using the showers, then proceeded to assault her, attempting to strip her clothing and preventing her escape. When a female employee intervened, Holland allegedly sexually assaulted her as well. This incident occurred just weeks after a charge for failing to register as a sex offender was dismissed on the condition of his registration. Holland, who has a history of child rape convictions from 2006, was ordered held without bail on charges including assault to rape, indecent assault and battery, kidnapping, and witness intimidation. Planet Fitness has stated that the franchise operator has canceled Holland’s membership and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
