Despite their steep price and minimal features, the new PlayStation 4 and 5 ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 have surged to the top of the PS Store charts. However, this newfound popularity has predictably resurrected the persistent issue of hackers and modded lobbies that plagued the original releases. Players are reporting widespread cheating and unfair gameplay, turning the nostalgic experience into a frustrating one. In response to the outcry, Activision has acknowledged the problem and stated they are actively working on solutions to combat the influx of cheaters and restore fair play to these beloved titles.
