In a shocking act of violence, a 15-year-old autistic boy was lured to a fake Snapchat meetup in Stawell, Australia, and subsequently ambushed and brutally beaten by a group of teenagers. The horrific assault, captured on video by onlookers, saw the victim repeatedly punched and kicked, knocked to the ground, and robbed of his shoes. Three boys, aged 14 and 15, have since been charged with affray, robbery, recklessly causing injury, and theft, with police continuing to investigate and increase patrols in the area to reassure the community. The victim, who also suffers from epilepsy, sustained soft tissue injuries and potential head injuries, leaving him traumatized and fearful, with his mother expressing relief he is alive but deep concern over his ongoing nightmares and fear of leaving home.
