The professional wrestling community is in shock following the untimely death of Benjamin Satterley, widely known by his ring name Pac, who was discovered deceased in Illinois on Sunday. Hours before his passing, Satterley had competed in the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) National Championship match at the All Out event. Authorities have stated there are currently no indications of foul play and the circumstances surrounding his death are not considered suspicious, with the cause to be determined by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. AEW confirmed Satterley’s death late Sunday, releasing a statement lamenting the loss of the English-born wrestler who began his career in 2004 and became known globally for his high-flying maneuvers and exceptional in-ring talent. Satterley, who joined AEW in 2019, was a decorated performer, holding multiple AEW championships and participating in some of the company’s most memorable bouts; he was a two-time AEW Trios Champion and the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion. Prior to his AEW tenure, Satterley performed in WWE as Adrian Neville, where he achieved significant success as a two-time Cruiserweight Champion, an NXT Champion, and a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion. Tributes poured in from across the wrestling landscape, with AEW owner Tony Khan praising Satterley’s excellence as a husband, friend, and professional, and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque remembering him as an extraordinary talent and a kind human being who was instrumental in the early success of NXT.
