Emmy-Winning Producer Arrested for Stalking Ex-Wife Days After Divorce Finalized

Emmy-winning TV producer Randall Saunders Kerr, 55, faces felony stalking and violation of a domestic violence protective order charges after allegedly engaging in a months-long harassment campaign against his ex-wife, longtime WRAL anchor Lynda Loveland, just days after their divorce was finalized. Court records reveal Loveland’s fear for her safety, detailing accusations that Kerr tracked her movements, sent up to 30 unwanted texts daily, and even admitted to climbing through a second-story bathroom window into her home, claiming he needed to use the bathroom. The alleged stalking intensified after their divorce was finalized on October 9th, with Kerr reportedly driving near Loveland’s home multiple times a day. Loveland obtained an emergency protective order in December 2025, which was later converted to a consent order, barring Kerr from contacting her and requiring him to stay at least 300 yards away, with a prohibition on possessing firearms. Kerr, who previously won an Emmy for a report on ‘Swatting,’ remains jailed without bond, with his arrest marking a chilling escalation of alleged harassment following their separation after over two decades of marriage.
