Smyrna, Georgia police have charged 18-year-old Kingston Lammar Bradley with malice murder after a chilling discovery of dismembered human remains in trash bags found in the trunk of his car. The investigation was sparked when witnesses observed Bradley carrying a container, which he dropped and fled from when he realized he was seen. Upon finding human remains inside the discarded container, police were alerted, leading to their return to Bradley’s apartment complex with a search warrant. This action followed a prior police response to the location after the family of a missing woman reported her car and phone were present, though no search warrant was executed at that time. The subsequent search of Bradley’s vehicle revealed a tightly pulled garbage bag displaying the distinct outline of a body part, later confirmed by the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s office to contain human remains. The victim has been identified as Shanteria “KT” Mosley, a DoorDash worker whose family had reported her missing, with her account last active on the day she disappeared. Police are continuing their search for additional remains and are investigating the connection between Bradley and Mosley, with authorities describing the crime as particularly gruesome and shocking, given Bradley’s prior history of domestic dispute calls to his residence that did not suggest such a violent capacity. Bradley, who is also facing charges for concealing a death, was denied bond and is awaiting his next court hearing in October.
