New Jersey Woman Accused of Child Sexual Assault, Snapchat Video Sharing

Victoria Anne Cranmer, 25, faces serious charges including second-degree sexual assault, child sexual abuse material manufacturing and possession, and child endangerment after allegedly sexually assaulting a child under 13, recording the act, and sharing at least one video on Snapchat. Authorities allege the assault and 14-second recording occurred on May 6 within a Little Egg Harbor home where Cranmer was responsible for the child’s care. Investigators identified Cranmer through distinctive tattoos visible in the recording, including one on her leg. The investigation was initiated on May 20 following a referral from the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency. Search warrants for Cranmer’s cellphone and Snapchat account revealed additional saved videos. The cellphone, a birthday gift from a former roommate, reportedly contained the discovered recording, which the roommate saved and turned over to authorities after Cranmer was asked to move out. Court documents cited by NJ.com indicate Cranmer was allegedly laughing during the assault. Cranmer is currently held without bail in the Ocean County Jail.
