Despite the presence of a masked individual on Guthrie’s Ring doorbell camera and the earlier release of two distinct ransom notes in July—one demanding $4 million in cryptocurrency and a subsequent note suggesting Guthrie’s death—law enforcement sources indicate that no new notes are currently being treated as credible.
