Pentagon to Livestream Fort Hood Terrorist’s Historic Firing Squad Execution

The Pentagon has confirmed that the execution of Fort Hood terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, convicted of the 2009 massacre that killed 13 and wounded 32, will be livestreamed, marking the first public viewing of a U.S. military execution in over six decades. Scheduled for December 3rd at Fort Hood, Texas, the firing squad execution, approved by President Trump following a recommendation from War Secretary Pete Hegseth, will be carried out using an Army firing squad. Hasan, a former Army major, will face this historic punishment after being sentenced to death in 2013 for his attack, which began with him shouting “Allahu Akbar.” This event is poised to be the first U.S. military execution since 1961 and the first by firing squad since 1945, with details on the livestream to be released shortly, as declared by Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell: “Judgment day for Hasan has finally come.” Survivors of the attack have vowed to watch the historic event unfold.
