Indicted on three counts of interstate threatening communications in Texas, Henderson was arrested on September 11th, with prosecutors detailing a disturbing pattern of threats made just days after Anthony’s June 9th conviction. The indictment reveals Henderson sent a Facebook Messenger threat on June 10th stating she would kill a Metcalf family member and put them in a body bag, brazenly adding, “now this is a threat take me to court.” On the same day, she allegedly called the Collin County government, which prosecuted Anthony, vowing to “demolish” the Metcalf family and “strangle” one of them. The threats escalated on June 11th with another Facebook message to a family member reading, “Don’t worry I’ll kill you next… I will hunt you forever until I kill you… I will be there. You will always have to look over your [expletive] shoulder.” If convicted on all counts, Henderson could face up to five years in prison for each charge, as the Metcalf family reports receiving over 100 threats since the trial concluded, highlighting the intense and volatile nature of the case that became racially charged and garnered national attention.
