Four Illegal Immigrants Arrested in Indiana Sex Offender Sting Operation

Four of the 11 individuals apprehended during a recent Indiana sting operation targeting suspected sex offenders are confirmed to be illegal immigrants, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). These men, who believed they were meeting underage girls for sexual encounters, were instead met by undercover law enforcement. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued detainer requests for the four non-citizens, who hail from Senegal, Nigeria, Mexico, and El Salvador. One of the accused, Filomeno Ricardo Flores Marin, a Mexican citizen, faces multiple charges including sex offenses, molestation of a minor, and enticement of a minor, with a prior arrest for stolen property and a previous ICE detainer in 2019. Lucky Philip Udoudo, a Nigerian citizen, is charged with child solicitation and sexual misconduct with a minor, while David Josue Gomez-Posada, from El Salvador, and El Hadji Babacar Ndiaye, from Senegal, are both charged with child solicitation. DHS emphasized the importance of honoring detainer requests and stated that all individuals will receive due process, while also asserting that criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S.
