Federal drug charges have been leveled against two vape store clerks in Oxford, Mississippi, who investigators allege supplied the substances linked to the deaths of two University of Mississippi students. Yahya Mohamed Mosleh and Islam Yahya Mosleh are each facing charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. A DEA affidavit details how bank records connected one of the deceased students, Aidan Hamilton, to purchases made at Puffs Vape Tobacco & Beer, and Robert Strang to Express Mart #7, where investigators later recovered suspected kratom products similar to those found at the students’ death scenes. This investigation included undercover purchases and the seizure of over 500 suspected kratom-related products from the Oxford vape shop, underscoring the seriousness of the allegations which were still under active investigation with toxicology reports pending from the medical examiner at the time the affidavit was filed.
