Just in time for Halloween, Liam Neeson’s 114-minute supernatural thriller, an adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s acclaimed novel, is now available on free streaming. Despite facing significant criticism and quickly fading from public memory after its release, this chilling feature, which shares source material with Mike Flanagan’s popular Netflix series, is ripe for a re-evaluation. With no cost to watch, there’s never been a better opportunity to revisit this forgotten scare-fest and decide for yourself if it deserves a second chance.
