A tragic incident unfolded in Nashville when a stray bullet, fired during a dispute outside Lavo Lounge, penetrated the wall of a nearby Sam’s Club and fatally struck 55-year-old Frito-Lay worker Paris Carlock as he conducted an early morning inventory in the chip aisle. Carlock was pronounced dead at a local hospital after Sam’s Club staff attempted to provide aid. Investigators believe the gunfire stemmed from an argument that began inside the lounge, escalated outside, and continued as individuals departed in multiple vehicles. One of these bullets found its way through the Sam’s Club exterior, killing Carlock, who police have described as an innocent victim. Homicide detectives are actively pursuing leads, but no arrests have been made, and descriptions of the suspects or vehicles have not been released. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers.
