The resort, which had been on the brink of shutting down its last operating casino-hotel and eliminating 344 jobs, was saved by a last-minute management deal with Terrible’s. Now, Primm Valley is betting on a comeback by offering a significantly more affordable vacation experience, eliminating resort fees, and matching loyalty rewards for returning guests. “Primm is trying to reposition that and get back to attracting people,” stated Cory Clemetson, president of the Primm South Real Estate Company, highlighting a sentiment that many feel Las Vegas has lost its accessible charm due to fees like parking and resort charges. Beyond affordability, the resort is tapping into nostalgia, aiming to recapture the hearts of long-time visitors who hold a special connection to the Primm area. Future plans are also in the works, with the potential return of table games and even the reopening of the shuttered Buffalo Bill’s casino resort.
