Newly declassified Department of Defense documents reveal that FBI agents observed a silent, triangular, matte-black object with no visible engines or propulsion systems hovering over a mountain ridge before accelerating at incredible speeds. The object, estimated to be between 9 and 15 feet in wingspan, was described as resembling a drone but exhibited characteristics far beyond conventional aircraft. Witnesses reported it ascended vertically, hovered for approximately 20 seconds, and then vanished into a canyon within two to three seconds, demonstrating an instantaneous acceleration. Thermal imaging showed a uniform heat signature across its surface, lacking the hot spots typical of engines. This encounter, detailed in reports from the FBI and the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), is among several UAP incidents highlighted in the released files, which also include historical military encounters and reports of unusual phenomena dating back to the 1950s, such as a mysterious radar contact near Saudi Arabia and sightings of silent, fast-moving objects near Catalina Island. A separate 2010 investigation into a Utah ranch also documented witness accounts of alleged creatures and unexplained lights, though subsequent lab tests on collected hair samples identified them as originating from ordinary animals.
