Bystander video captured the terrifying moment the crane’s arm detached and crashed through palm trees, landing partially submerged in the pool area of the One Plaza West Brickell condo. The crane, which was reportedly not yet operational and undergoing assembly, experienced a catastrophic failure, sending its arm flailing before it struck the rooftop amenities. Witnesses described a scene of shock and disbelief, with one onlooker fearing they were about to witness a fatal accident as workers desperately held on. Miraculously, the construction crew managed to descend the structure via ladders, and Miami Fire Rescue confirmed that all workers were accounted for and uninjured.
