Florida ‘Demonologist’ Hacker Arrested for Allegedly Exposing Women’s Private Data on TikTok

A Florida man who identifies himself as a “demonologist” and “Grey Hat Hacker” on TikTok is back in jail after allegedly exploiting women’s private information and boasting about tracking their movements via their phones. Mark Stephen Asea, 36, faces a felony charge of offense against computer users, stemming from accusations that he accessed and shared sensitive data, including passwords, banking information, and private messages, obtained through remote computer access and alleged phone tracking. One woman reported that Asea accessed her computer under the guise of technical assistance, later claiming he planted a virus to monitor her activity, and subsequently posted a private photograph from her Telegram messages. Another victim discovered her password, shared only within a private TikTok group chat, appearing in Asea’s posts, along with details about her phone’s identification number and spending habits. Asea allegedly created over 100 TikTok videos about one woman, even posting her tattoo photograph on a website, and boasted in videos about using GPS data from her phone. This arrest revives a case initially brought in April on stalking and computer-related charges, which were later dropped before prosecutors refiled a computer-access charge. Asea’s online personas have included “Demonologist,” “Clairsentient,” “Empath,” “PTSD,” “Grey Hat Hacker,” and “Woodsman,” with past biographies noting “former satanist” and “cybersecurity engineer.” He also faced and had dismissed a civil stalking protection case over the summer, with his criminal case now set for arraignment on November 19th.
