Hunter, 42, who was already serving probation for a 2021 Florida sexual battery conviction, now faces rape, aggravated sodomy, and kidnapping charges in Georgia stemming from a 2016 attack. Authorities believe he may have targeted women seeking employment as babysitters, dancers, or masseuses, arranging fake job interviews that led to assaults. The breakthrough came when Hunter’s DNA, collected after his Florida conviction, matched samples from sexual assault kits related to cases in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties from 2016 and 2017, which had previously yielded unidentified male DNA. One victim, a 19-year-old, believed she was heading to a legitimate babysitting job when she was lured to an apartment and assaulted by Hunter and an unidentified accomplice. Investigators are now urging potential victims, possibly extending to New Jersey where Hunter grew up, to come forward, emphasizing that sharing their story is crucial for support, regardless of their decision to prosecute.
