Authorities were alerted to the incident when a relative contacted the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, expressing concern about Roger Bradford’s alleged involvement and requesting a welfare check at the residence. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Lisa Bradford deceased; her husband had already fled the scene in a rental car. Investigators tracked the vehicle’s movement across state lines, leading to a swift apprehension by Pennsylvania State Police approximately three hours after the initial call. The shooting is believed to be domestic in nature, though investigators are still determining if there were any prior incidents.
