Notable arrests include Whycliff Longin, 28, a Haitian asylum seeker charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder, sexual battery, and burglary following a violent home invasion; Noe Lux Castro, 24, a Guatemalan national who allegedly attempted to use a Taser on an officer during his arrest; and Olmen Noel Vargas-Mendoza, 40, a Honduran with a history of domestic violence and multiple illegal re-entries.
